The structures are no longer usable and are becoming a hazard.  Disposal of School Board owned property requires approval of the School Board by Resolution as defined in F. S. 1013.28.   It is recommended that these structures be demolished to eliminate any potential liability with the structure and clear the property for future use.  The buildings do not meet current requirements for classrooms and were taken out of service.  Since then, they have been used as storage buildings.  The Maintenance Department has determined it is not cost effective to renovate the buildings.

Approve the Resolution to dispose of relocatable buildings at Clay High School.

The cost to raze the buildings and remove the debris is estimated not to exceed $25,000.00.
